About Rally

Rally was created through a collaboration between a technical professional and a badminton enthusiast. Combining practical club experience with software expertise, we set out to make session booking and balance records clearer and easier to manage.

The project is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit software project. It is maintained by the Rally team in their spare time.

• Players — see upcoming sessions, book a spot, check your balance, and view a clear record of charges and refunds.
• Club administrators — publish sessions, manage the roster, and settle court costs without chasing people for numbers.

Rally is the portal. Your club's name, venue, prices, and rules come from your club — not from us.

• Transparency — balances and history should be visible to the member they belong to.
• Simplicity — sign in with a link; no passwords to forget.
• Respect — your data is for running the club, not for selling or spamming. New-session alerts by email or SMS are opt-in only.
• Honesty — Rally is a tool. It can have bugs. We welcome reports of problems and prioritise confirmed issues according to their impact and the resources available to our volunteer team.

Each club holds its members' funds. Rally shows deposit balances and transaction history as records your club maintains. We do not receive, hold, or transfer money between members and clubs.

We are not the leisure centre, the club committee, or a bank. We do not set court hire rates or decide who gets refunded. We provide the software your club chooses to use.
