Terms of Use

Rally is a booking and balance-tracking portal for badminton clubs (the Service). It is operated by Rally, a volunteer-run, not-for-profit software project.

Your club uses Rally to manage sessions, bookings, and member deposit balance records. Your club sets session prices, rules, and how money is collected in practice. Rally is the tool they use to record them.

By signing in or using Rally, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be shown on the sign-in page or in the portal before they take effect where practical. Continued use after the updated date means you accept the revised terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rally. The Service is not intended for children. We do not verify age at sign-in; your club is responsible for who it adds to its member list.

You must be invited or registered by your club, provide accurate information, and keep sign-in links confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account until you sign out.

Rally is not:

• a bank, payment processor, or financial institution
• a substitute for your club's own rules, policies, or venue terms
• a guarantee that sessions will run, courts will be available, or balances are error-free

Deposit balances shown in Rally are records maintained by your club through the portal. Each club holds its members' funds. Actual payment of money to the club happens outside Rally (for example bank transfer, cash, or whatever your club arranges). Rally does not receive, hold, or safeguard member money.

Session availability, pricing, cancellation deadlines, and refunds follow your club's settings and decisions. Displayed amounts are based on information entered by administrators and your booking activity.

You agree to check your bookings and balance and to contact your club administrator if something looks wrong.

If you opt in, we may send you email or SMS when your club adds a new session. You can opt out in settings or via an unsubscribe link in a message at any time. We do not guarantee delivery timing or success (for example carrier delays, incorrect numbers, or spam filters).

We aim to keep Rally available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on a volunteer basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice, including during maintenance, upgrades, or provider outages.

Software can contain errors. Balances, bookings, or displays may occasionally be incorrect.

If you find an error, email support@example.com with your name, club, what you expected versus what you saw, and screenshots or dates if helpful.

We may investigate and, where reasonably practicable, correct a confirmed software error. We do not guarantee a particular response or resolution time. Club administrators remain responsible for confirming and correcting club records where appropriate.

Reporting an error does not automatically adjust your balance — your club admin may need to confirm and apply corrections.

You must not misuse Rally (for example attempting unauthorised access, interfering with other users, or using the Service unlawfully). We or your club may suspend access for misuse or security reasons.

Information you or your club administrators enter must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. Administrators act on behalf of their club when managing member records.

Rally, its design, and underlying software remain the property of Rally and its contributors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service for your club's purposes while these terms apply.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, Rally, including loss of profit, missed sessions, swap outcomes, notification failures, downtime, or actions taken by your club or other members.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

You stop using Rally by signing out and, if you wish, asking your club to deactivate your membership. We may restrict access if required for security, legal compliance, or abuse.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts in New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
